Dogs of the Month

I submitted Brutus and Rufus to be dog of the month on my forum Big Dogs Porch. They won for May – whoo hoo. They have their picture on the forum as the banner and a big giant picture with their story on the homepage. It will be displayed for the entire month of May. They are the first pair of dogs to be dog of the month on the forum. I couldn’t just nominate one of them and not the other. I am so glad they were chosen together. Their old mommy Chris would be so proud to see them there.
This is one of my favorite pictures of the boys. It was taken shortly after we got them at a fundraising event for Citizen’s for Humane Action in Westerville – the Dog Jog 2005. We are huge Buckeye fans so getting the boys’ picture with Brutus the Buckeye was really exciting. Aren’t they just so cute! They have grown quite a bit since this picture. But they look the same otherwise.
