Party Pooper
Tonight we were supposed to host a birthday party for a friend’s Chocolate Lab named Hershey. We have been all set for months. The weather has been HOT and DRY for over a month. Then about 2pm it clouded up and started to pour….. We had a ton of rain, lightning and thunder. My friend called and canceled the party. The puppers were looking forward to seeing their friends and playing in the pond.
Over the weekend we had a full house! 2 of my former foster Saints stayed with us along with their house mate pug. PLUS we had the weim brothers. They had a great time playing with the gang and I got a ton of pictures. They went home today but will be back again on Saturday. I will have them for 10 days while the family is in California for a family reunion. I am so sad that I will never see them again after that. They will be moving to Wisconsin in July. I wish them the best.
Oh bummer about the party being canceled. That weather is too finicky! And cool about your watching your old fosters, and sad about them moving away.
I’ll bet the dogs couldn’t understand why a little rain would cancel their fun.
It is sad to see foster dogs move, but I’m sure they’ll send pictures.
