Happy Birthday B & R

Happy 4th Birthday to Brutus and Rufus! I can’t believe my big boys are 4 years old now.  Time continues to march on and the sands continue to fall.  I love my boys so much.  Celebrating their birthday is so bittersweet.  It should be a day of excitement and happiness, but it just reminds me of their mortality and how little time I have left with them.  Saints don’t live much longer than 8-10 years.  The thought of being with out them is too much to bare.

    I know that bittersweet feeling. My little guys have a longer life expectancy, but it’s never long enough. I went into a trauma when the vet suggested Senior dog food for one of them.

    I know that as well. Targ is turning 6 this year. We lost his brother at 7 1/2

    I hear that Jan! I feel blessed for every day that I have with my pack. You’re right, it never is enough time. Ever! I wish they lived as long as we did.
