We’ve got guests!
My friend Laura had to leave town for a family member’s wedding. So I offered to watch 2 of her dogs, Gabby (greyhound) and Zoe (Italian greyhound). This isn’t the first time they have stayed with me and are very good friends with my kiddos. Gabby is the dog that Rufus goes on therapy visits with. It will be nice to put a face with a name since I have talked about her several times before.
I picked the girls up on my way home from running errands with Brutus. We came home and Zoe immediately had to cuddle and love on my husband. She took a nap with him while we went outside to play. I don’t have pix of her yet, but I have the rest of the week. Gabby took off running like a chicken with its head cut off with the pack in tow. They played for a couple of hours. I think she’s worn out – she is sleeping like a log on a pillow. In fact now that I look around there is not a single dog awake, you could hear a pin drop except for Rufus’s snoring. Well, you know what they say, a tired dog is a good dog.
Look at the muscles that Gabby has! Wow! What an athlete! I bet Gabby and Zoe are having a blast at your house!

Maggie & Mitch – Gabby is an ex-racing greyhound with an ear tattoo and everything. I think I am going to look up her ‘not so’ stellar career and will write about it tonight.
Char – That is the Gabby from Ruffdogs that “mycatshateme” never posts pictures of! She is the sweetest thing too.
Is it just me or is there a little Kangaroo imitation in there. Great pictures. My friends are a little reluctant to leave their dogs with us. My dogs are tiny but intense.

That’s great! Gabby sure is a very muscular girl huh? I hope they all are having fun with each other. Hope to see a picture of Zoe soon.

Amber-Mae, she is solid muscle and loves to run. She loves my dogs and her best friend in the whole world is Hera.
It’s so wonderful that Gabby is such great friends with your pack. We have a visitor this week too…our SA Boerboel cousin, Zola. Need to post pics of how big she’s gotten on the blog
