DQ + Dog = Fart Storm
Brutus has been sort of sad today since he hasn’t gone bye bye for a few days. Rufus got to go to the bank with me today and Brutus sat at home feeling left out. So I thought I would take both the saints for a car ride and get a little treat this evening after dinner. There’s a DQ about 10 minutes from my house and back in town. So we go to DQ and I order the boys a vanilla kids cone each and watch them lick away. They love icecream, but dont get it very often. High concentrations of milk and sugar is not good for them and can wreak havoc on their “constitutions.” Normally we don’t have an issue with it and it is so infrequent they get it I didn’t give it a second thought. That was my first mistake! I had to run into Walmart to pick up a few office supplies for my husband and left the boys in the car. I was a inside Walmart for no more than 10 minutes and when I came out my car smelled (and I kid you not) like a skunk had exploded in there. A fart storm had descended on my car. OMG it was so bad. We came home, they went out and took care of business and so far so good.. no more farts. I am praying I am not woken up in the middle of the night to let them out. But if I have to, its my own darn fault.
I think the boys would say it was worth it ~ they loved that ice cream. Brain freeze and all!
Have not tried Dairy Queen ice creamz before but my mommy said they are the BEST! Too bad there’s no DQ here in Malaysia. All closed down I guess…Oh wow, I can imagine how stinky that fart was becoz it came from a Saint. BOL!!!

LOL! Yeah, we have a Tasty Freeze here .. same deal soft serve icecream… although I didn’t notice any extra fartage.. occassionally Targ thinks it’s funny to back his big butt up to me while I’m on the couch and let one rip… I swear on all I hold Holy that he LAUGHS!

Do they have soft serve icecream in Malaysia Amber? You should use your pretty puppy eyes and convince your mom that you really need your very own cone since Brutus and Rufus has one.
Bear, let me just tell you I thought I was going to hurl when I got in the car. They had the windows all steamed up too. Can you belive the nerve of them. But I guess the joy icecream brings out weighs the gas.
Jen you are soo lucky Targ doesn’t get giant mastiff-sized skunk farts! Luckily they slept through the night and the gas subsided as soon as they went “out”
I can’t even go to the car wash, I have to do it myself. I would be mortified to get back in the car after the attendants were in there mucking around. My dogs are pigs and my car is their stye.
OOPS! The same thing happens to us if we overdo the good stuff! It’s so well worth it though!
