Garage Sales Pt 2

Posted by Saint Lover

The neighborhood had another community garage sale yesterday and today. The weather wasn’t very good yesterday so most people didn’t put out any of their stuff. But today was another story. It was beautiful, sunny and 65°F. There was a ton of activity and we decided to venture out and meet the neighbors. I walked Brutus and Rufus separately and we toured the neighborhood visiting all the garage sales. We gathered quite a group of people at each house we went to and passers by stopped and got out of their vehicles just to pet them. They were just soaking it up – especially from the kids. I managed to snap a picture of Brutus soaking up some attention at one of the houses we stopped at.

I think he’s smiling!

It was so nice to have my neighbors interact with them and see how well all the dogs behave. They are also getting alot better at ignoring the neighborhood dogs. Rufus still gets the most excited, but he is starting to loose interest in the other dogs. If I can just get them to ignore those 3 pesky little min-pins in the underground fence.

Thanks Nanjo! Hope you have a great Mothers Day and that it’s sunny not like here (thunderstorms :( )

They were all in hog heaven… the more kids the better as far as they are concerned!

You are beautiful! My Mom loves me but she has to admit that growing up Saint Bernards were her first love. :)

Come to find out I am like a mini Saint Bernard as I love to lap up my water, shake my head and basically drool all over everyone. :)

We came to visit through the DWB site. :)

Aw, you can tell he’s so happy. Isn’t it funny how much attention a dog attracts? Especially a big dog like yours.

I’m glad you think that Amber… They can be quite intimidating from their size stand point. Most of the people here have little kids and little dogs and recoil right at first. At least everyone is really good about asking permission first.

Lindsay ever seen the circus come to town? You know how they used to get off the railhead and march to the place the circus was being held? Its a giant parade and people come to watch… that’s about what it is like walking my gang through the neighborhood… lol
