The Boys and I

I dont really have many pictures of myself, I am usually behind the camera lens. I also gained alot of weight and haven’t been very proud of how I look. Well since we moved, I have had to do a lot of walking the dogs and have managed to loose a little bit of weight. So, I decided i should take a few pictures with the boys. I think these are the best two. I think I am going to have the first one blown up and framed. I think the boys look absolutely adorable. The second one is absolutely shocking. I didn’t really realize how BIG they truly are. I look at them and see what most people see when they look at a Labrador. I guess it’s all about perspective. No wonder people say..”wow, THATS a BIG dog” More photos in the Gallery.
Looking hot Lori…Have to agree the first is a gorgeous one of both you and the hounds….Girl you have hair to die for…must admit I’ve started to increase Chels walking and feeling a bit fitter myself….I am just not photogenic as you are and avoid the camera at all costs…lol

LOL Amber! I am shocked at the size of their mellons… lol Its so funny how when you see something everyday you just get used to it. I never realized how big they have gotten and I have always considered them as “small bernards”.. hmmm

Those are great pictures! Did you take them yourself? I just picked up an external flash for the camera and am looking forward to playing with it.
You look beautiful as do your pups — those are some big dogs you got there — I bet they sure do eat a lot. It’s a great family portrait !!!

That first photo is awesome! My sister has Mastiffs and I never realize how big they are until someone else points it out. (When you grow up with big dogs it just seems normal.)

Very nice pictures. Your dog are bigger than you! How do you manage to walk two at once? Ha. You should take more. My neighbor has a Saint Bernard, and his dog seems smaller than your dogs. How much do they weight?

Thanks Kara, I know exactly what you mean. It’s all what you get used to. I was telling my mom just today that I just didn’t realize how big they really were until I saw those pictures I think they’ve grown since I got them… lol

These are awesome pictures! I love them both! You obviously love your dogs and they love you right back – shows in the shots! They are huge! I love big dogs (but the slobber gets to me!)

Momma is always amazed when she catches her reflection on walkies or sees a picture of me with her. She doesn’t think of me as gigantic. Those are lovely photos.

Thank you Tammy… I do love my boys! The slobber is one of their big drawbacks, but after awhile you just learn to accept it and its no big deal.
Its funny how that works Mango. I will look at some other big dogs and think wow thats a really big dog and then someone will remind me that mine are bigger.. i guess its all what you get used to looking at every day. And FYI Mango, you are huge dude!
