   Jan – The way some of my dogs whimper and woof in their sleep I would have to guess that is exactly what they are dreaming about too.

   Love it! I also love The Far Side cartoon where the dog has drawn crude arrows along the hall and into the dryer, labeled “CAT FUD” and the dog is standing behind and watching, (“Oh please, oh please!”) as the unsuspecting cat considers jumping in the dryer.

   Of course they dream. I often wonder if dogs wake up and are confused, or if they just forget their dreams right away. Ace doesn’t wimper or move in his sleep often, but I’ve heard it a few times. Not that that’s the only time he dreams, though.

   Lindsay, Rufus wakes up befuddled… its hysterical. Brutus and Rufus seem to be the more prolific of the dreamers here. They twitch whimper, whine, woof and flop their paws constantly. The labs are a little more peaceful while asleep.

   Wonderful! We heard George howl for the first time at 04.30 hrs, we thought it was an air raid warning what a wonderful voice he has BUT i guess he wasn’t singing in his sleep?
