Happy July
Can you believe it is already July 1st?! I sure can’t. The year is now half over. Summer is trying to make a come back in Ohio after the last week we have had. It has been in the 70′s and was only 63°F yesterday! We have been dying to get in the pool and swim. Well the Sun God, Helios was smiling on Zeus, Hera and Apollo (note the theme) and gave them a gorgeous day to swim. (video of all the dogs at the end)
Apollo is taking his jumping really seriously… He flies half way across the pool!
Poor Rufus, he didn’t get to play! Mean old mommy wouldn’t let him out because he was barking like crazy at the other dogs. Here he is watching barking from the upstairs window trying to make me feel bad.
Zeus got in today and was jumping a little bit too. He is no where near as enthusiastic about jumping as Apollo or Hera.
And of course “everyone” knows it takes two labs to get a ball out of the pool.
And last but certainly not least. Enjoy a few minutes of our day, a pretty typical day.

I love your pool, it looks so inviting! Of, course I am scared of the little pool Mommy got for us doggies. I will get in while the water isn’t deep but once it fills up there seems to be a force to keep me from getting in. Wow you guys sure and jump in the pool. Olympic doggies! YOu all look like your having a blast! Rufus maybe next time your mommy will let you join in on the fun if you control them barkies!

OMD, I just really can’t believe that I don’t live at your house. I mean, come on? Is there a dog who wants a stuffie or a swimming pool more than me? I think not. Maybe if I make my best googly eyes at you guys, you will adopt me?
Oh Charlie you aren’t supposed to watch the dancing man… lol! That’s my dad. My brother caught that video on his cell phone and sent it to us for fathers day. I of course had to set it to music and repeat it a time or too just to add insult to injury. As the eldest child, that’s my responsibility you know.
Baylee.. Rufus wont get in.. he just chases Apollo around barking like at the old house. Its his favorite game ever and Brutus is right there to play the game too. Poor Apollo. With the boys harassing him, he’d never be able to launch himself like he does.
Thanks Jan… Rufus gets too excited when they are swimming and wants to bark non stop… uggg last thing I need is the cops showing up.
Always room for another lab Sophie! Come on down… at the very least you could take a vacation and stay with us. We’ll turn you into a swimming, diving fool in no time.

Those are some really gorgeous photos! Apollo can be a Dock Diving Dog. I’m sure your country has that competition. Malaysia doesn’t. So sad… Poor Rufus couldn’t join the fun.

Wow that pool looks like fun! It is so freakin’ HOT here that I can’t wait to go to Vermont and my pebble beach. The water is cold, but that is the best, I go running in there as soon as I can!

I love the pool photos. And in the video, the tails never quit wagging. I think at one point every dog had a toy in his or her mouth, too. Very cute.

I wish Apollo could come over to give pee-wee swimming lessons. He is afraid to get off the steps in the pool next door (even for a tennis ball).
I howl at the window too when Momma takes pee-wee out without me to work on his retrieving skills (of which he appears to have none).
