Bark Park #10

Posted by Saint Lover

Another glorious Saturday at our favorite place on Earth, Bark Park.  Today’s rescue group was Sheltie rescue and wow were there alot of shelties and collies running around the park.  None of our buddies were there today for various reasons and boy did we miss them.  We still had a good day playing and running around even with out them.

We worked Apollo on the agility equipment and he was really enthusiastic,  He finally figured out the concept of the tire - you go through it, not under or around it.  And he mastered the teeter - still working on the weaves though.  He can go in and out 4 times then looses focus and wants his duckie.

Hera spent the better part of the day chasing after her dragonfly friends, per usual.  She isnt making strides in catching any though.  Hasn’t curbed her enthusiasm trying though.

My son has a real affinity for the little oldies….

And last but not least, a photo montage of our day at the park….. Enjoy!

Abz… Chels would have so much fun! There are 5 different danes (2 blackones) that come to the park. Diesel is the biggest and he runs around like a big old horse. He’s a real sweet dog and it is awesome to see the big dogs playing with the little dogs… Glad you enjoyed the montage.

Aren’t dog parks great! And your photos are wonderful. :) I’ve been thumbing through my copy of Dog Park Diary this weekend and the stories and photos have me wishing that we had a dog park here for Maggie to run around in. It really makes me sad that there’s nothing here for her, and doesn’t look like there ever will be.

Thanks Emily, he has a lot of fun dabbling with the agility equipment.

Thanks Jan.. she is more interested in chasing those darn dragon flies than agility. She can do the a-frame though.
