Sew Crazy Pumpkin Fest Collars
My “Pumpkin Fest” collars came yesterday and let me tell you how excited I am. I couldn’t wait for the pumpkin show to put them on the boys so they are wearing them now. They turned out even better than I had anticipated after seeing the picture on The Sew Crazy Dog Lady’s site. The quality workmanship and style is excellent and always consistent. I have not been disappointed with a single collar I have bought.
I tried to take a few pictures yesterday, but of course it was raining and gloomy out so I had to settle for indoor pictures and we all know those never turn out as good as sunny outdoor pix. The dogs did do alot of lounging on my bed though… the big lazies!
Over night the rains and clouds took a hike and moved on. Today is a beautiful sunny, dry cool day and perfect for a photo shoot. How perfect will they look walking around at the Pumpkin Fest in their festive collars.
It was time to get Apollo a new collar. After an entire summer of swimming in my chlorinated pool it started looking a little tattty and bleached so I decided to try out the new style the Sew Crazy Dog Lady is working on, Martingales! I decided on the 1½ inch wide martingale for him and since I love the bones and hydrants fabric so much I stuck with it. I think it captures his personality to a “T”. An extra “D ring” on the side for tags is a perfect extra touch.
