Merry Christmas

Posted by Saint Lover

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas day.  It has been a very quiet one here at our house.  My husband and son went to his grandma’s house with the rest of his family this morning in West Virginia and then on to snowboard so we celebrated at the inlaws last night, opened our family gifts today and then they were off.  I spent most of the day hanging out with the dogs which has been a very welcome change for them.  I have been so busy the last few weeks they are starving for attention.

We were blessed with a clear and sunny, but cold day and the labs and I fully took advantage of it.  We packed up the “lab cab” (my dog hauling SUV) and headed over to the dog park for a romp.  It was a mud pit from all the rain we got yesterday but the dogs loved it and were in heaven.  Unfortunately I have to clean out the SUV because of it tomorrow… :???: but it was worth it.  They stretched their legs and got to play with some of the dogs at the park.

And there was even a 9 month old Dane there to play with..

I hope you all had a wonderful day full of family, friends and or furkids!

Merry Christmas from the Dogs Life!

Hi, Nala’s Mom here….glad you had a good Christmas! I must say I was quite surprised when I saw “West Virginia” mentioned. I am from there but live in WA state now! Where in WV does your family visit? I am from the Summersville area…central part of the state but have lived out here for 7 years now. Well, have a great weekend!

Amber, try clearing out your cookies then rebooting your computer. That should take care of it. Merry Xmas to you as well.

Hi Nanjo! I stop by your blog every day to check out all the new goodies (I just dont always comment)
We did have a great time at the park until it got a little crowded and one of the labs that was there was kinda stinky and the boxer wanted to play really rough and was very vocal. Of course his owner wasnt paying much attention. The lab bit Apollo on the ear, luckily no puncture but Apollo let him know he was not impressed.

Blessings to you and your family as well! Hope you had a wonderful first “married” christmas together.

Hi Sophie and Co… Thanks for the kudos on Apollo. He really enjoyed himself at the park until some meanie bit his ear. He was less than impressed and let him know too. I think Apollo is stuck here, but if he ever decides he wants to jump ship, I’ll send him your way    I can’t believe how much he looked like Sopie as a pup. I’ll be posting puppy pix in a few weeks since it is almost his 5th birthday.

Nope, no snow Cyn… and still none. We have had a couple of nice sunny days which has been nice. But no snow. Most of our snow comes in late January and February.

    Happy New Year

Abz – I think I finally came up with a good name for your dane transport — the “Dane Train”

I am so glad to have you and your beautiful brode in my life as well. Happy 2009!
