I made this sketch in photoshop from one of my favorite photographs of Rufus. Im thinking about having it printed out and framed. I think it would make a nice addition to my walls. What do you think?
It is really nice. One of our friends at the training club drew one of Sagira for us and we did just that, had it framed and she has her own wall with her awards and drawing on it.
we are currently in a competition to earn money for our schnauzer rescue, and in first place! For every vote we get a dollar, which really goes a long way to help save these dogs. All you have to do is click the link and hit vote! easy!
Nicely done. I have tried experimenting with just some of the solarization and other grading effects on photoshop too. Its amazing the effects you can come up with to display your beautiful dog in an artistic way. Cool photo!
Wow, what a fantastic blog. We are a little let down that the last entry is December 30, 2011 but will be back soon to see more for sure! We just rescued a very handsome dog from the Humane Society. He has huge ears and nobody wanted him. I think he is getting over all the comments he heard while he was in doggie lock down. People are actually asking us for videos of him. Life is suddenly really good for Grim, our new dog! Keep up the great blogging.
I was trying to email you but the email got bounced back. Can you please let me know an email address I can send an email to you at? I am a retailer and am interested in a dog product review and/or a product giveaway, if you do that sort of thing? Thanks!
Yes! It is beautiful. You did a great job on the jowls.

It’s gorgeous, you are really talented!
That looks great! Very modern. Would probably look good in a nice black or silver frame.
Wow this is very cool looking, love it!!! Inspiring me!
I think it would look great in your wall. actually I am going to copy your idea and do the same with my dog

My dog and I get to play with a couple of st bernards down the back beach. Lots of slobber and eager to play, but really just big teddy bears.
How did you do it in photoshop? Did you ‘draw’ over an image or use one of the tools? The render affect on his head looks very good.

Very cool picture! I think the black and white sketch photo creates a more intriguing overall picture than if it were a color photo.
Rufus sure looks like a handsome dog. I bet you get a lot of slobbering kisses for all the hard work you obviously put into his well being.
my last comment vanished … I was just saying that making such a sketch shows your obvious affection for your dog.
